Calendar days use exclusive counting by default. Enable “Include end date” for inclusive counting. Business days exclude Saturdays and Sundays. Months and years are approximate (30.44 days/month, 365.25 days/year).

What the result measures
Enter a start date and an end date to calculate the number of days between them. The result shows total calendar days, business days (excluding weekends), weekend days, and the equivalent in weeks, months, and years.
Counting methods
By default, the tool uses exclusive counting — the end date is not counted as a full day. For example, January 1 to January 2 is 1 day. Enable “Include end date” for inclusive counting (January 1 to January 2 becomes 2 days), which is common for travel bookings, event durations, and contract periods.
Business days
Enable “Exclude weekends” to count only Monday through Friday. The tool shows both the business day total and the number of weekend days in the interval. Holidays are not excluded automatically.
Approximate months and years
Months and years are shown as decimal approximations based on average month (30.44 days) and year (365.25 days) lengths. For exact calendar months, use a dedicated month calculator.
