The years, months, and days use calendar boundaries. For a February 29 birth date, a non-leap-year anniversary uses February 28.

Enter the date of birth first. The second date starts on today, but it can be changed to check an age on a past or future date. This tool uses dates only; it does not use a birth time or a time zone.
How the age is counted
The main result counts complete calendar years, then complete calendar months, then the remaining days. A date such as January 12 to January 12 of the next year is one year, while January 12 to February 11 is still short of one full month. A February 29 birthday uses February 28 as its anniversary in a non-leap year.
Calendar age and total days
The result shows the calendar age in years, months, and days, along with the total number of elapsed whole days between the two dates. The total-days figure is useful when a day count is more useful than calendar units. If the first date is after the second date, the calculator asks for a different pair instead of returning a negative age.
