The loading screen is bare, a black stage and your little stick guy crouched on a ledge, timer in the corner ticking like a mild threat.
You run, jump, dash and die a lot. Levels are gauntlets of spikes, moving platforms, tiny safe spots and annoying traps that like to catch you mid-air. It feels tight and a bit cruel, and when you pull off a tricky sequence it clicks and you want to replay for a better time.
You basically memorize routes, chain jumps and time dashes. It rewards patience and stubbornness more than raw button mashing. I find the checkpoints sometimes sting, but that makes nail biting comebacks sweeter.
Controls
- Left and right arrow or A and D to move
- Space to jump
- Shift or K to dash mid-air
- Down or S to slide or drop through some platforms
A casual trick, try holding dash a fraction after leaving a wall to clear some spike patterns instead of spamming it. If a room keeps killing you, slow the run down and watch the hazards, memorization wins here.
