Lows Adventure 2

You get a weird grin when Lows Adventure 2 drops you into its first cramped room, like the game dares you to find the tiny route out.

What you basically do is run, jump, dash and slash through compact platforming rooms, flip switches, collect bits of loot and chase down hidden exits. The levels are short, a few tricky platform puzzles, a couple of miniboss rooms and then on to the next stage.

It feels snappy and a bit crunchy when you land hits, sometimes cheap with a surprise spike or two, but the movement has good weight so pulling off a tight jump feels satisfying. I like how the later stages mix in vertical gauntlets with small combat arenas, even if a few rooms overstay their welcome.

If you get stuck try slowing your rhythm, wait for enemy patterns instead of mashing dash, and check walls for secret ledges; secrets hide in obvious places once you stop rushing.
