Geometry Rash

You miss a jump by a pixel and the block explodes in glitter, then you laugh and queue it again. That tiny, angry restart is half the fun.

Geometry Rash feels sharp and twitchy, like someone dialed up the tempo on a puzzle game. You mostly run, jump and dash through tight corridors of triangles and saws, timing everything to the little pulse in the background. It gets frantic fast, but it also rewards that split second you learn a pattern, and when a run finally clicks it feels great.

What you do is simple, messy and addictive: memorize obstacle rhythms, chain jumps, and squeeze through ever narrower gaps. Levels are short and brutal, so it is good for quick plays or a stubborn hour trying to clear one screen. I like how it forces focus without being preachy about it.

Controls

  • Arrow keys or A D to move left and right
  • Space to jump, hold for a longer hop
  • S or Down to drop through some platforms
  • Shift to dash, useful for tight timing windows
  • Mouse clicks also work for jump if you prefer tapping

A casual piece of advice, try to learn one tricky obstacle at a time instead of memorizing a whole level in one go. Small chunks stick better, and you die less dramatically.
