Fancy Pants Adventures is a fast, scribbly platformer where you basically run, jump, slide and kick through hand drawn levels collecting shards and secrets. It feels loose and joyful, like skating on paper, a bit messy but hard to stop once you get into a rhythm. You fight tiny bosses, grab hidden doodads, and chain slides into jumps to keep momentum.
I like how simple controls let you pull off silly moves, and the level design hides cute shortcuts that reward a curious thumb.
Controls
- Move: arrow keys or WASD to walk and run.
- Jump: Z or X or Up arrow, hold for a slightly higher leap.
- Slide / Crouch: Down arrow or S to slip under obstacles or start a slide.
- Attack / Roll: A or Ctrl on some versions to kick or roll into enemies.
Try bouncing off walls and chaining a slide into a jump when you can, that keeps speed up and reveals secret paths. If you keep dying, slow down for one run and look for alternate routes.
