Convert TXT to PDF in your browser
Paste any plain text or drop a .txt, .md, .csv or .log file and turn it into a printable PDF without uploading anything. Choose your page size, orientation, margins, font family, font size, line spacing and alignment, then add an optional header, footer and page numbers. The preview updates when you choose Generate PDF and you can download, open in a new tab or print directly.
Page and typography controls
Use A4, Letter, Legal, A3 or A5 in portrait or landscape. Margins offer Narrow, Normal and Wide presets plus a Custom option where you set top, right, bottom and left in millimeters. Fonts are Helvetica, Times and Courier at 9 to 14 pt with Compact, Normal, Relaxed and Loose line spacing. Alignment supports left, justify, center and right, and the Wrap long words option keeps long tokens from running off the page.
Headers, footers and document info
Add a header and footer that repeat on every page and choose page numbers: none, bottom center, bottom right or top center. Set the output file name, title, author and subject. The file name sanitizes illegal characters and .pdf is added automatically if missing. Title, author and subject are embedded as PDF metadata when provided.
Examples
Meeting notes to A4 handout: Paste multi-line notes, pick A4 portrait, Normal margins, Helvetica 12 pt and bottom center page numbers. Generate PDF produces a 1 or 2 page A4 file ready to print. The preview shows pagination before you download. Log file to Letter: Drop server.log, switch to Letter landscape, Courier 10 pt, Narrow margins and wrap on. The same log becomes a compact landscape PDF with fixed-width alignment.
Local processing and limits
All rendering uses jsPDF in the browser. Text never leaves your device. Files up to 5 MB are recommended and 10 MB is the hard limit. Very large text above 300,000 characters shows a warning and still generates but may be slower. Binary files are detected and rejected. Empty input is validated before generation and the result actions (Download PDF, Print, Open in new tab, Copy stats) stay disabled until a PDF exists.
